- Nalgene 32oz Wide Mouth — plastic Nalgenes work great; the smooth surface actually holds our adhesive better than powder-coated metal.
If your bottle isn't on this list, the rule of thumb is: any bottle with a straight-sided cylindrical body between 8 and 10 inches around will work. Bottles with heavy taper (like some Contigo travel mugs) don't wrap cleanly.

How to Apply a Wrap-Around Sticker to a Water Bottle
- Clean the bottle with 70%+ isopropyl alcohol. Wipe the entire application area with a paper towel dampened in rubbing alcohol. Let it dry completely — no water spots, no fingerprints. This step alone doubles the sticker's lifespan.
- Peel the wrap off the backing paper face-up. Lay the sticker face-up on a flat surface and slowly peel the paper backing away from the vinyl. Never peel the vinyl off the paper — you'll bend or tear it.
- Align the top edge first. Hold the bottle horizontally and press the top edge of the wrap onto the bottle where you want the top of the design to sit. Get this line straight before you commit — everything else follows from it.
- Roll the bottle away from you, smoothing as you go. Slowly rotate the bottle while pressing the sticker down with your other hand, working out any air bubbles toward the edges. Don't rush — 30 seconds of careful rolling beats redoing the whole thing.
- Burnish the top and bottom edges with a fingernail. Run your fingernail firmly around the top and bottom perimeter of the wrap. This is the single step that separates a sticker that lasts three months from one that lasts three years.
